Our Rising Stars
💫 What We Look For in a Sponsored Rider
At giddyupgirl, sponsorship isn’t just about the biggest results, the fanciest horse, or the rider with the most ribbons. For us, it’s about something deeper.
We look for riders who give their whole heart and soul to the sport. Riders who show up rain or shine, put in the hard work behind the scenes, and chase their goals with passion and determination.
Equally important, we value riders who show true sportsmanship, cheering on competitors, supporting friends, and treating everyone with kindness and respect. Because real champions aren’t only measured by their ribbons, but by the way they carry themselves in and out of the arena.
Having been in the industry for 22 years, we’ve proudly sponsored many, many riders, some of whom are now mums with their own children in the saddle. It’s a privilege to have played a small part in their journey and to watch the next generation of riders grow up with the same love for the sport.
Our goal is to support riders with talent, big dreams, and an unstoppable spirit. Whether they’re producing a young pony, balancing school with training, or riding down the centreline at a major championship, these are the riders who inspire us most.
We believe in celebrating resilience, consistency, and the love of the journey, as much as the thrill of a win. Because at the heart of it all, it’s about the dreamers, the doers, and the horse-obsessed kids who remind us why we started riding in the first place.
That’s why we’re so proud to back our giddyupgirl sponsored riders, they represent not only the heart of the sport but also the future of Australian equestrian sport. ✨🐴
✨ Ally Wills – Showing - SINGLETON, NSW✨

At just 12 years old, Ally Wills has already carved out an impressive name for herself in the show horse world. Her passion began at age 7 when her eldest sister, a keen horse girl, convinced her to ride by doubling bareback together on a farm. From there, the spark was lit.
Ally’s first pony, a very special Welsh A named Sammy, taught her the ropes and gave her the confidence to step into the show ring. Incredibly, within her first 12 months of riding, Ally qualified for her rider class at the Grand Nationals, a moment that ignited her eagerness to train hard and dream big.
Since then, Ally has gone from strength to strength, competing across Northern NSW and Queensland, and partnering with two exceptional ponies, Bamborough Bank Note and Rocky Hill Prince Charming, who helped her secure multiple championships, reserves, and more Grand National qualifications.
In 2025, Ally’s riding took another exciting step forward. Training under the guidance of Andrew Buckley and Jnr Holtzhausen at EB Lodge in the Hunter Valley, Ally now has the opportunity to ride and compete on some of the country’s most successful horses. This experience has been transformative, not only sharpening her skills in the show ring but also introducing her to dressage. Riding Jnr’s incredible 17.2hh warmblood, Darcy, sparked a whole new passion. Competing Darcy in her rider class at the 2025 Grand Nationals was an unforgettable highlight that has inspired Ally to expand her riding ambitions even further.

Evie D Equestrian - Central Coast, NSW
🐴 Show Jumping • Age 13 🐴

Evie D is the definition of a true horse girl, she has been in the saddle since the age of just two, and from that very first ride, there has been absolutely no stopping her! 🐴✨
Growing up alongside her beautiful mare Wyann Poppy, Evie built the kind of deep, unbreakable partnership that forms the foundation of every great equestrian career. Poppy came to Evie as a rising four-year-old straight from the breeder, and the two grew up together , competing at the highest levels of hacking at Sydney Royal and Horse of the Year, as well as dressage and interschools. It was Poppy who first opened Evie’s eyes to the thrill of show jumping, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Today, Evie is a dedicated show jumper, and every ounce of her classical foundation, the feel she honed in the hacking ring, the precision she developed through dressage, the partnership skills built over years of interschools, shows in the way she rides. She is not just a competitor; she is a horsewoman.
🌟 EVIE’S TEAM 🌟
Evie campaigns a small but talented string of horses, each with their own story and each playing a unique role in her development as a rider.
Wyann Poppy - The mare who started it all. Poppy and Evie grew up together from the very beginning, forging an unbreakable bond across hacking, dressage and show jumping. A true once-in-a-lifetime horse.
Wyann Bugatti - Evie’s own home-produced project. Purchased as an 18-month-old in 2022 and grown in Evie’s paddock, Bugatti was broken in and brought through the grades entirely by Evie herself. He is now jumping 80–90 cm with confidence, a testament to her skill and patience as a producer of young horses.
Mr Mungus - On lease from the celebrated Stapleton family, Mr Mungus is a 22-year-old, 16.2½ hand chestnut Thoroughbred schoolmaster with an impressive record. He joined Evie’s string at the start of 2026 and together they have wasted absolutely no time, stepping straight into the 1 metre arena and already collecting wins.
